Warranty Information
Wheels and tires are covered by the manufacturer that built them. This page explains how those warranties generally work and what we need from you to open a claim.
Who covers what
- Wheels: covered by the wheel manufacturer, typically against defects in materials and workmanship, with separate and usually shorter coverage for finish.
- Tires: covered by the tire manufacturer against manufacturing and material defects, usually pro-rated against remaining tread depth.
- Accessories such as lug kits, TPMS sensors, and hub-centric rings follow their own manufacturer coverage.
Coverage length and terms differ by brand and by product line, so the manufacturer's published warranty for your specific product governs the claim.
Commonly not covered
- Road hazard damage: curb strikes, potholes, punctures, cuts, and impact bends.
- Corrosion or finish damage from harsh wheel cleaners, acid-based products, or road salt left on the wheel.
- Damage from improper installation — wrong lug seat type, over- or under-torquing, or forcing a wheel onto a hub it doesn't clear.
- Off-road, competition, overload, or commercial use where the manufacturer excludes it.
- Irregular tire wear caused by alignment, worn suspension components, or under-inflation.
What to document before filing
- Your order number and the exact part number or MPN on the product.
- Clear photos: the full wheel face, the affected area up close, and any manufacturer markings on the back of the wheel or the tire sidewall.
- For tires: tread depth readings and the DOT date code.
- A short description of when the issue appeared and how the vehicle is used.
How to start a claim
Send the documentation above through our contact form and choose the returns/damage topic. We submit the claim to the manufacturer on your behalf and pass along their determination. Manufacturers make the final decision on every warranty claim.
This page describes general industry practice, not a warranty offered by Premier Truck Wheels. Any store-level warranty commitment, claim-window length, or road-hazard program needs your approval and the specific manufacturer terms before it can be published here.
